On this page you will find a series of writings lessons, with a new one posted every week. It may seem too easy for you at first, but these are necessary to begin training your brain to become creative. I want to turn on the writing juices inside your noggin, but sometimes it starts with a simple drip, drip, drip at first. I am going to begin by using simple pictures with what may seem like babyish assignments, but again, this is important to learning how to brainstorm and become detail oriented. Even if you only write a single sentence it is a good place to start. You just need to start writing. Have fun with the lessons!
Writing lesson #1: Below is a picture of a little penguin family having some fun in the snow. Your task is simply this: make up a short conversation these penguins are having. It does not have to be fancy or long, but put your phone down, pick up a pen and a piece of paper, and jot down a few statements they might be saying to each other. Have fun with it, then share your writings with me on the contact page. The best conversations will be posted on this page for others to read. :)
Writing Lesson #2: Below is a series of pictures about a piece of pizza. Look at the pictures carefully and write down what you think is happening in this story. Does the pizza make it out alive? It's totally up to you how it all ends!
